Shaping the Future Together
Over the past few days, we had the pleasure of welcoming the team from Evasive Robotics to our Gessmann plant in Schwaigern. Together, our colleagues worked intensively on the GESSbot Duo—our two-armed robotic system.
The GESSbot Duo is our state-of-the-art dual-arm robotic system, designed specifically for efficient, flexible, and collaborative manufacturing processes. With its two precisely controlled robotic arms, it can perform complex tasks in parallel, intelligently coordinate workflows, and collaborate safely within a workspace.

Thanks to intelligent software integration, the GESSbot Duo significantly reduces programming effort, increases productivity, and opens up new possibilities for customized automation solutions—from order picking and pick-and-place to assembly tasks. With its flexibility and performance, the GESSbot Duo sets new standards for future-oriented production processes.
The Software
Evasive's software supports the GESSbot Duo in control and motion planning, enabling multiple robot axes to be coordinated intelligently and without collisions. This allows complex processes to be implemented efficiently, reduces programming effort, and opens up new degrees of freedom for flexible automation.
During the visit, we not only worked on the GESSbot Duo, but also made progress on software integration and preparations for our exhibition at LogiMAT 2026. The discussion was characterized by openness, mutual input, and a shared commitment to creating innovative automation solutions for the future.
