Shaping the Future Together – Cooperation between Gessmann and EVASIVE ROBOTICS

Over the past few days, we had the pleasure of welcoming the team from Evasive Robotics to the Gessmann facility in Schwaigern.

During their visit, our colleagues worked closely together on the GESSbot Duo, our dual-arm robotic system.

The GESSbot Duo is our state-of-the-art dual-arm robotic platform, specifically developed for efficient, flexible, and collaborative manufacturing processes.
Equipped with two precisely controlled robot arms, the system is capable of executing complex tasks in parallel, intelligently coordinating workflows, and safely operating within a shared workspace.

Through intelligent software integration, the GESSbot Duo significantly reduces programming effort, increases productivity, and enables new possibilities for customized automation solutions—from order picking and pick-and-place applications to assembly operations. With its high level of flexibility and performance, the GESSbot Duo sets new benchmarks for future-oriented production environments.

The software developed by Evasive supports the GESSbot Duo in control and motion planning, enabling multiple robot axes to be coordinated intelligently and without collision. This allows complex processes to be implemented efficiently, reduces programming complexity, and opens up additional opportunities for flexible automation.

During the visit, the teams not only worked on the GESSbot Duo, but also advanced the integration of the software and further prepared our joint presence at LogiMAT 2026. The collaboration was characterized by openness, constructive exchange, and a shared commitment to developing innovative automation solutions for the future.
