An assistant robot for everyday use in the shop
The GESSbot Gb350 takes over routine tasks and relieves automotive professionals of work. And it can do much more than it seems at first glance.
In times of a shortage of skilled workers and full order books, working time in the workshop must be used as effectively as possible – there is only limited time for monotonous routine tasks. This is where the GESSbot Gb350 can be useful. The autonomous robot from Gessmann performs simple tasks such as transporting tools and spare parts.
It communicates via a sound system, display and light. With a size of 95 × 72 × 42 centimetres, it can carry up to 350 kilograms at a time and travels at a moderate speed of 4.3 km/h. Meanwhile, skilled workers can take care of more important tasks and do not have to interrupt their work in progress to go to the warehouse, for example. This results in shorter walking distances and fewer heavy lifting tasks.
In modern workshops, the auxiliary robot can also be integrated into existing workshop management systems, where it can process orders and monitor materials. In this way, it can ensure that tools and spare parts are always in stock and can be delivered directly.
The GESSbot Gb350 is suitable for many other tasks. It is available with different superstructures such as a shelf and an arm to pick up, place and even assemble products. The robot is scalable in the long term and can be expanded step by step.
