The NU 1 changeover switch is used as a signal and indicator switch in high-voltage systems and is designed as a robust switching device for demanding operating conditions. The device is equipped with cam discs made of insulating material that can be adjusted in 10° increments, thereby allowing for flexible adaptation of the switching functions.
The design of the DC switching elements used allows multiple switching elements to be stacked on top of one another, which can then be actuated together. This design requires special components to securely fasten the stacked contacts in order to ensure reliable operation.
