Hospitals are under increasing pressure: a shortage of skilled workers, rising demands on patient care, and limited staffing resources characterize the day-to-day operations of many facilities. At the same time, recurring transport tasks—such as those involving medications, supplies, or laundry—take up valuable work time every day. The GESSbot automates these transport tasks and helps hospitals streamline their internal logistics and supply processes.
Developed based on our own experience
We understand the challenges of recurring transport tasks from our own production operations. That’s why we developed the GESSbot to relieve employees of routine logistics tasks and make internal logistics processes more efficient.
After the GESSbot had proven itself in industrial settings, we successfully applied that experience to hospital operations in collaboration with SLK Klinikum Heilbronn.
Already successfully in use in real-world hospital settings
At SLK Klinikum Heilbronn, the GESSbot is already independently handling transport tasks between the central pharmacy and the oncology department.

Flexible shelving system for various supplies
The shelving system can be adapted to specific transport processes. Medications, supplies, linens, and other medical supplies can be securely stored and transported between designated hospital areas. Depending on the application, various compartment configurations and transport concepts are possible.
